The School of Melanated Intelligence, Inc. is an African-centered educational institution grounded in AfrIcan cultural heritage, holistic biologicaldevelopment, and community responsibility.

III. School Structure & Scheduling
A. School Year
Operates on a 12-month schedule.
Traditional academic subjects: Fall and Spring terms.
Summer term: Completion of required electives, cultural enrichment programs, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship labs, STEM exploration, and graduation/promotion projects.
B. Daily Schedule
School day begins with Physical Activation / Gym for male students
Class Period Structure (for all students):
45-minute instructional class
Followed by 15-minute physical output / movement break for male students and 15 minute social intermissions for female students
Ensures better focus, emotional regulation, and brain-body alignment.
IV. Gender-Specific Learning Approach
A. Male Scholar Program
Designed around higher physical activity needs, spatial learning, mentorship, and structured movement.
First class daily is Gym / Physical Training.
Physical output breaks are mandatory to support focus and stamina.
B. Female Scholar Program
Designed to support loquacious female needs, cognitive, emotional, leadership, and collaborative learning strengths.
First class daily is ELA/Communiction Class
Social Intermission for females after each class.
C. Class Grouping
Most academic and physical education classes are taught separately by gender to support developmental, identity, and leadership formation Additional Program Detail: Physical Training & Conditioning Program
1.Physical Training Program (Gym / Body Development)
Gym at the School of Melanated Intelligence, Inc. is not recreational; it is a Personal Training & Physical Mastery Course.
The purpose of this course is to:
Strengthen discipline, endurance, resilience, and confidence.
Support the biological need for movement-driven cognitive performance.
Teach scholars body control, self-awareness, and a lifelong commitment to health.
A. Required Physical Conditioning Structure
Gym is the first class of the day for male students only
Each session includes:
Warm-Up and Mobility Work
Strength Building (Calisthenics, Muscle Training, Resistance Work)
Endurance Conditioning (Running, Sprinting, Rope Work, High-Intensity Drills)
Breathwork and Recovery Training
Physical demands increase progressively by age group, biological development, and demonstrated fitness level.
B. Attire and Preparedness
Students are required to change into dedicated gym uniforms at the start of class
Uniform provided includes:
Breathable athletic shirt
Athletic shorts or sweatpants (depending on weather)
Approved running/training footwear
Personal hygiene standards are taught and reinforced (showering, deodorant, grooming, hygiene responsibility).
C. Gender-Specific Grouping
Gym classes remain separated by gender to ensure:
Full physical focus without social distraction
Tailored training intensity and technique instruction
Identity-building and teamwork within each group
2. Educational Integration
The physical training course aligns with:
Biology (muscle systems, metabolism, body mechanics)
Health & Nutrition (why certain foods fuel performance)
Mental Discipline Training (focus, resilience, emotional regulation)
African Warrior and Athletic Traditions (cultural grounding in movement, rhythm, strength, martial discipline)

Contains gender-specific discussion tracks within the shared course.
V. Nutritional & Wellness Program (Mandatory Participation)
All food served is:
Organic
Whole-food based
No processed sugars, artificial ingredients, or fast food.
Daily Meal Schedule
Breakfast (school-provided)
Mid-Morning (school-provided)
Lunch (school-provided)
Afternoon Snack (school-provided)
Hydration & Supplementation
Ionized water available throughout the school day.
Vitamin wellness “shots” / supplements administered twice daily (morning & afternoon), tailored by CEO, licensed nutrition and pediatric health professionals.
Health Education
Students are taught food science, body chemistry, agriculture, and meal preparation as part of curriculum.

VII. Promotion & Graduation Requirements
Completion of core academic competencies and state tests with a 75 % or better ( passing at SMI is A ,B ,75 and Fail)
Passing cultural knowledge & civic responsibility benchmarks.
Completion of summer electives and mastery projects.
Participation in wellness, leadership, and community service activities.
